0 Update Samsung Galaxy S Plus I9001 with Cyanogen Mod 9 Ice Cream Sandwitch Firmware

1.Download Cyanogen Mod 9 ICS Package and Google Apps on your PC.
2.Connect your Handset to your PC via USB cable and place the downloaded file into your device’s SD card
3.Disconnect your phone from your PC so that it can be easily entered into the Recovery Mode.
4.Handset will be easily enter to the Recovery Mode by pressing Volume UP button plus Home button and holding both simultaneously press the Power button and turn on your handset.
5.In the recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the “CM9 ICS 4.0.4 Package”, after this select the “Google App”.
6.This will take 5-10 minutes to complete process.
7.After this the device will be Reboot automatically. If your phone landed into Recovery Mode then you need to select  Go Back ” and then choose the option of “reboot system now” for rebooting the system.

5.Now goto PDA on the extracted files and select the file with name “tar”. After this goto Start button to begin the process. 
6.If you see the Home Screen Disconnect the phone from PC and switch it off so that it can be entered into the Recovery Mode.
7.You can easily enter to Recovery mode by Holding both simultaneously the Volume Down key,Ok key and press the Power button.
8.In Recovery mode select wipe data/Factory Reset and also the Wipe Cache Partition. Reboot your handset by selecting Reboot system now option.

            1 Update Samsung Galaxy S plus I9001 With Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread

            Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread installed on the Galaxy S plus model is now updated easily with this tutorial we provide only for Galaxy S plus users. Samsung, today is the one of the biggest brands of the world in the field of Mobile Devices. And on the other hand Android is one of the best OS in the world. Android OS provides the user to change its to new look easily. The best part of this tutorial is that you need not to root your device. The update provide for the users is XXKQ7. It provide you the some performance and interface enhancement.

            In XXKQ7 you are not able to use KIES software as XXKQ7 is beta version. Before updating you have to met some conditions provided here. Create backup for your important files like SMS,Messages,Phonebook,Images and Music files. Plug in the charger of your device. In between shutdown is strictly prohibited. Turn off or Uninstall the antivirus from your computer. Now lets start the tutorial. Please follow the below steps:

            STEPS: 
            1.Download the XXKQ7 firmware from here.
            2.Extract it into your Computer.
            3.Launch the "Odin3 v1.83" program and leave it for now.
            4.In your mobile device navigate to Setting->Applications->Development->Enable the USB debugging.
            5.Turn off your handset.
            6.Press and hold volume and OK button, then simultaneously press the power button. This action takes your Device in to Download mode.
            7.Once you done this.Plugin your handset to computer using USB cable.
            8.The ID:COM section in Odin3 v1.83 should turn into yellow.
            9.Click on the button named PDA,select the I9001XXKQ7_I9001DBTKP2_I9001XXKPK_HOME.tar.md5 and press the start button
            10.The update process starts immediately. Once it is done the handset get reboot.
            11.Wait until you device reach the home screen, then turn it off.
            12.Now press the Volume and OK button, then simultaneously press the power button. This will takes your device in to Recovery mode.
            13.Once you are there select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
            14.Continue with Wipe Cache Partition.
            15.In last step select Reboot System Now.
