0 Update Samsung Galaxy S Plus I9001 with Cyanogen Mod 9 Ice Cream Sandwitch Firmware


Now update your Samsung Galaxy S Plus with Cyanogen Mod 9 Ice Cream Sandwitch Firmware. Here I explian you how to update Samsung Galaxy S Plus GT I9001 with full detailed instructions and please note that this is not an official firmware means this is not released by samsung itself, it is a leaked version. This Cyanogen Mod 9 ICS update will give your handset a new functionality and will improve performance of your handset. Before updating you will do these few steps :
1.Back up all the important data and contacts of your device using ASTRO FILE MANAGER
2.Charge your handset to 80% or more.
3.Enable USB Debugging on your device by  heading to Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging
4.Disable all the applications like Antivirus software,Samsung Kies PC suite.

Updating Instructions :
1.Download Cyanogen Mod 9 ICS Package and Google Apps on your PC.
2.Connect your Handset to your PC via USB cable and place the downloaded file into your device’s SD card
3.Disconnect your phone from your PC so that it can be easily entered into the Recovery Mode.
4.Handset will be easily enter to the Recovery Mode by pressing Volume UP button plus Home button and holding both simultaneously press the Power button and turn on your handset.
5.In the recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the “CM9 ICS 4.0.4 Package”, after this select the “Google App”.
6.This will take 5-10 minutes to complete process.
7.After this the device will be Reboot automatically. If your phone landed into Recovery Mode then you need to select  Go Back ” and then choose the option of “reboot system now” for rebooting the system.
